This is an animation in the form of silent movies that was release in the year 2003. Lovely songs and dance, wonderfully and cleverly animated, combining both hand drawn and computer generated animation. It is also the first animation that got a PG18 ratings. What drawn me to this animation was its songs, way back in late 2002, on its official webpage.
Got my hands on a DvD of this feature couple of weeks ago, it is well worth the wait and money spent. It reveals to me as I watched with delights, not only was its songs and dance captivating, the story is filled with action and suspense, unlike any other animated features that show “beautiful, perfect, cute and cuddly” main characters. They are fill with almost “life like” characters, that can only be done by careful observation of the human behaviours. The animators/directors have given live by making them have their own little weird habits, may it be a little hand gesture or a flip of the hair, a nudge of the glasses, that otherwise is overlooked by the common eyes.
